Skiturer

We have chosen to focus on five challinging skiing expeditions that will give a lot of joy and nature adventures. The expeditions are very different regarding content, price and accessability.

Greenland - The North Pole - The South Pole - Baffin Island - Jostedalsbreen (Norway)

X-GREENLAND

mai 2009
We will cross Greenland on skis from West to East, spring 2010. Probably the very best thing you can do on skis! It is not without reason that I (Christian) already have crossed Greenland 7 times. This trip requires dedication and efforts, both before and during the trip..

THE NORTH POLE

Isbjørnspor, mars 2009
An extremely challinging expedition, spring 2011. From  north in Canada we will pass the drifting ice towards the pole, 800 km away. On our way we will meet drifting ice, thin ice, extreme low temperatures, long and hard day and most likely polar bears. This expedition requires experience from Greenland, and many traing hours with rucksack and tyre trainig.

More information will be released.

THE SOUTH POLE

Mads
In 2012, 101 years since Amundsen reached the pole, we will make 1130 km in demanding terrain and heavy wind. An expedition in historic surroundings, and at high financial costs. Our concept is minimum but sufficient weight. Few companies knows this concept like Latitude. This expedition requires experience from Greenland, and many training hours.

More information will be released.

X-BAFFIN ISLAND

Pangnirtung, mars 2009
200 km skiing in a fantastic wilderness, among''Norwegian'' peaks and mountains, and experiencing the hosptality of Canadian inuitts
