THE SOUTH POLE - JUBILEE EXPEDITION


In these days we are going for the South Pole, 100 years after Amundsen reached the pole. We will ski in the fotsteps of him up the Axel Heiberg Glacier. App 600 km in demanding terrain and heavy wind. An expedition in historic surroundings. Finally arriving South Pole some of us will continus with kites/ skisails 1130 km - ending up on the other side of the continent.
Christian Eide and Trond Sundby is expedition leaders, and will lead the group of 10 persons - from Norway, Russia, England and South Africa. The trip is organized in a cooperation between Latitude ltd & Ousland ltd.

EAST GREENLAND

Fjords, icebergs, glaciers, fishing, culture, nature and good food. This trip will give you time to get a nice taste of the exciting East Greenland. No need to be superfit.

GUNNBJØRNS FJELD

Join us to the highest peak in Greenland, ''the 8. th continent''. Few people have climbed this peak that is located in the east coast of Greenland.

This is a unike trip, to a desolate and almost unkonwn mountain area.

NANSEN TREKKING

August/ september 2012: trekking in the fotsteps of Fridtjov Nansen. In 1888 Nansen crossed the icecap of Greenland, and finally of the icecap - he went down Austmannadalen. This trip 7 days in historical and beatifull nature on the west coast of Greenland.

X-GREENLAND


In 2012, we will cross Greenland on skis from West - East (spring). Probably the best thing you can do on skis! It is not without reason that I (Christian) already have crossed Greenland 9 times. During the expedition, dedication and efforts are required, both before and during the trip.
